Digital Data

Digital mapping data can be used in geographical information systems (GIS) to support you or your business needs. With appropriate software you can, for example, add information to a map, making it easier to analyse your own data and make better decisions.

We offer a wide range of data in a range of formats and levels of detail and licensing agreements cover the supply and use of our data. We offer a range of terms, so there will be one that will cover your particular business needs.

What does a digital data licence entail?
Data sharing between customer and other project participants allowed
Choice of licence period - 12 months minimum, 18 months, 24 months or 36 months
Right to archive for up to 13 years for legal or regulatory reasons after the licence has ended and for looking at the information to answer queries arising on the specified project in that period
Rights for customers to use in 'land and property' projects
Customers must provide a project name when they apply for this licence
Use of the data on up to a maximum of 40 terminals per project is permitted
No rights to commercially exploit the data in any way
Customers can appoint subcontractors to undertake work on their behalf, that is viewed as a temporary extension of their project skill base
Unlimited production of paper copies from data for use within the specific project allowed
Production of reports for project client allowed
